Über Haibike
Die 1995 in der Stadt Schweinfurt gegründete Marke Haibike vertrieb ihre sportiven Fahrräder zunächst unter dem Namen der Muttermarke Winora, entwickelte sich jedoch in der Folgezeit schnell in Technik und Inhalt weiter und übernahm den Namen Haibike auch für ihre Räder. Aufgrund der Verbindung zur Muttergesellschaft schafft es der Hersteller, sichere und erprobte Strukturen mit der Dynamik eines Start-ups zu verbinden, was über die Jahre zu großen Erfolgen und Innovationen führte. Besonders bekannt ist die Marke für seine Haibike E-Bikes - nicht zuletzt, weil Haibike als einer der ersten Hersteller in die Kategorie ePerformance expandierte und wirklich geländetaugliche E-MTB's herstellte. Immer wieder gelingt es Haibike, mit seinen Fahrrädern Design-Awards zu gewinnen und die Messlatte für sportive Pedelecs höher zu setzen.
Technologie
Um die Vision der Marke von sportlichen und dynamischen E-Bikes mit extremer Leistung umzusetzen, entwickeln die Ingenieure von Haibike stets neue Techniken und Konzepte, die sie als Pioniere im E-Sport Bereich positionieren. So waren sie weltweit die ersten Fahrradhersteller, die den speziellen Fertigungsprozess des "Gravity Castings" einführten - ein aus dem Motorradbau stammendes Gussverfahren für besonders stabile und leichte Teile. Auch das erste Carbon E-Fully geht auf das Konto der Schweinfurter Marke und mischte 2014 die E-Bikeszene ordentlich auf.
Radsport-Förderung
Haibike ist seit 2011 Hauptsponsor des Haibike Pro Teams, für welches unter anderem die zweifache Weltmeisterin Sabine Spitz fährt. Weiterhin unterstützt Haibike diverse Sportler und Sportlerinnen wie Yannick Granieri und Maximilian Semsch, der die bis dato längste je gemachte E-Bike Tour fuhr.
Haibike Bikes
Was viele nicht wissen: vor dem E-Bike Boom produzierte Haibike ganz normale Fahrräder ohne elektronische Unterstützung, diese waren jedoch nie wirklich kommerziell erfolgreich. Auch heute noch hat Haibike einige Modelle ohne Motor im Programm: Unter dem Modellnamen "Seet" bieten sie preiswerte Haibike Hardtail Mountainbikes für Kinder und Erwachsene.
