Giro Montaro Mips III – Trail and E-MTB Helmet with Extended Protection
The Giro Montaro Mips III is designed for demanding trail, all-mountain and touring riders who want maximum protection, outstanding comfort and modern performance features. With its progressive shape, deep coverage and premium in-mold construction, this MTB helmet delivers a high level of safety while keeping weight pleasantly low.
The durable polycarbonate outer shell is permanently bonded to the impact-absorbing EPS foam liner. This construction is enhanced by a fully wrapped EPS shell and Giro’s Roll Cage™ internal reinforcement for added strength and durability. The integrated MIPS® Evolve Core safety system is engineered to help reduce rotational forces in certain impacts, adding another layer of protection on the trail.
Comfort, Ventilation and Precision Fit
Large ventilation openings combined with deep internal channeling create excellent airflow and a cool, comfortable feel – even on long climbs and intense rides. The Roc Loc® Trail fit system allows precise and quick micro-adjustment, ensuring a secure and comfortable fit across a wide range of terrain.
For enhanced comfort, the Giro Montaro Mips III features soft Ionic+™ padding. These pads offer excellent sweat absorption and antimicrobial performance, helping maintain a fresher interior during demanding rides.
Designed for Goggles and Eyewear
The Montaro Mips III is purpose-built for modern mountain bikers. Its two-position adjustable visor creates space to securely store goggles on the front of the helmet when not in use. Grippy zones at the rear help keep the goggle strap firmly in place during aggressive trail riding.
